Responsible for overall product development and design as well as business management. Mr. Lebaredian oversees in-house productions and strategic direction. Rev founded SSI after several accomplished technical projects. He began his career at Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, overseeing the implementation of Mosaic. Mr. Lebaredian, the founder of Steamboat Software, Inc. and Steam Engine, Inc., has architected and written, among other applications: the award winning 3D software rendering program "Jig", the hair renderer "Yeti" used by Walt Disney/Dream Quest Images in the Academy Award ® nominated movie "Mighty Joe Young" and the cartoon renderer Warner Brothers Digital used on "Marvin The Martian in the Third Dimension".

Mr. Lebaredian began his career at JPL as a Networking Engineer and then, transitioned to high-end computer graphics at Warner Brothers Digital, as a Technical Director, and author of the cartoon renderer for "Marvin The Martian in 3-D". On behalf of Warner Brothers Digital, Mr. Lebaredian presented a technical sketch at the 1996 Siggraph Computer Graphics Convention entitled, "Traditional Cell Animation Look with 3D Renderers". Mr. Lebaredian left Warner Digital in the spring of 1996 for Dream Quest Images to write the hair renderer (Yeti) for "Mighty Joe Young". After completing 'Yeti', Rev started his own software company, Steamboat Software, Inc.

Steamboat has successfully developed the high-end 3D rendering package Jig and after only five months on the market, Jig v1.0 was awarded a Computer Graphics World 2000 Innovation Award.
