spreadframes

A useful Perl script that spreads a list of jobs in the form of command lines to multiple machines on the network. It uses standard unix functions(i.e., fork()) and the "rsh" command in order to dispatch the jobs. This script should run fine on any Unix or Unix clone.

doframes

Another useful perl script for generating command lines for batch jobs. It allows the user to iterate a command over sequence of frames. It also provides the ability to run multiple jobs concurrently. This is useful on multi-processor machines. Padding of frame numbers is also supported. This utility requires basic facilities in a Unix or Unix like operating system.
